Montblanc Starwalker Red Gold – Plate Metal Rollerball Pen 106868

Unlike the resin used on other Starwalker pens, the Red Gold-Plated Metal is a rather sophisticated combination of materials from Montblanc. The entire body of the pen is actually a layer of rose gold-plated metal, the main surface after plating is covered with a layer of matte black lacquer. It is then put into a cutting machine to create horizontal and vertical diamond-cut lines across the body of the pen. This helps the previously rose gold-plated metal cuts stand out against the matte black lacquer background.
