100 years (1906 - 2006) is a very special occasion for Montblanc to launch a series of "huge" pen collections with all the most special things. In the picture, the Starwalker Unlimited Soulmakers For 100 Years fountain pen model has had the traditional snowflake symbol of the Starwalker line replaced by a natural diamond measuring about 0.06 ct. The large ring on the top of the pen has also been changed with an impressive embossed pattern of the number 100. As a special anniversary version, the pen nib is also crafted from 18k gold, engraved with the image of the Montblanc mountain and the words 100 years. The pen currently available in the store is a new pen in a box.
To mark the 100th anniversary of the famous Montblanc brand, in 2006, the Montblanc Starwalker Unlimited Soulmakers For 100 Years pen was launched along with other "horny" designs. The highlight of the "crown" that this pen carries is the diamond symbolizing the Montblanc brand, replacing the logo that we are familiar with.
Cut by artisans, the iconic six-pointed snow star image once again appears in the form of a precious material. The diamond is approximately 0.06ct in size, created with the “star-in-star” cutting technique, meaning that when you observe this diamond, you will see another smaller star inside the main star of the diamond.
Besides the precious diamond on the pen tip, what makes the Montblanc Starwalker Unlimited Soulmakers For 100 Years sought after by collectors is the number 100 embossed on the pen tip ring, 100 years of Montblanc putting all its craftsmanship, soul and mind into all its products.
Although this is not a limited edition, the word “Unlimited” represents unlimited effort and also unlimited vision, design and the Montblanc name will always be at a level that is difficult for anyone to reach. This pen model was also only produced in 2006, the current quantity on the market is very small.
Another special thing about the Montblanc Starwalker Unlimited Soulmakers For 100 Years pen line is that this pen line is only produced in two versions: fountain pen and dry ballpoint. This sometimes happens in special and limited edition pens of Montblanc, Montblanc also does not explain the reason why but perhaps this is what makes the collection value of the pen model increase one level.
And with this 100th anniversary fountain pen, the signature 18K gold nib is something that a dry ballpoint pen cannot have, Montblanc also sends an engraved image of Mont Blanc mountain with the meaningful words "100 years".
