As a special edition to mark the 110th anniversary of the Rouge et Noir pen line (1906 – 2016), the Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir Special Edition is a unique combination of the famous classic Rouge et Noir pen line, with the image of the snake that appeared on the Writers Edition Agatha Christie pen line. This combination brings a more modern version of the pen while still maintaining the classic features of the fountain pens that appeared before 1920.

A quick overviewSpecially designed, the Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir is made from Montblanc's famous black resin and lacquer. The snake on the pen tip is made from metal, hand-curved around the pen tip. The snake on the lapel clip is also treated to look more classic, this seems simple but in fact it takes significantly more time than traditional gold or platinum plating.
