The Montblanc 145 75th Anniversary Special Edition is a special edition launched in 1999 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Montblanc brand. The biggest difference of this version is that the nib is engraved with a special 75th anniversary pattern from 18K gold. The top of the pen is also decorated with a gold-plated circle with the words "75 Years Passion" and a natural diamond instead of the letter O. The 145 version currently available at the store is a medium size, suitable for most people. Asian pen users, M size pen nib is quite versatile. The pen is genuine, beautifully displayed like new.
Marking the 75th anniversary of its launch, in 1999 Montblanc launched the 75th Anniversary Special Edition collection dedicated to the pen line that built Montblanc's reputation - the Meisterstuck pen line. With a familiar shape, the 145 pen you are seeing is also part of that collection.
Still crafted from resin with gold-plated metal details, this pen version has been added by Montblanc with a large ring detail on the clip. The artisans engraved the words “75 Years of Passion” in that position, and at the same time, in the position of the letter “O”, they used a natural diamond to replace it. The diamond is meticulously cut, although not too large in size, it still proves the experienced craftsmanship of the pen makers.
The 145 fountain pen version also uses a 14K gold nib, has a nib size M and the design is also engraved with the words "75 Years - Meisterstuck" that Montblanc is always proud of.
