Launched in 1996, the Montblanc Meisterstuck Solitaire Czar Nikolai pen line was considered a very collectible pen among Montblanc pen lovers at that time. It appeared on the market in two versions, one with a body cast in Platinum-plated brass and a more premium version, crafted in Ag925 silver plated with 20K gold.
The selling point of this pen is definitely its sThe mystery of the emerald green on the clasp. It is not made of lacquer as usual (I also mistakenly thought so when I first held it in my hand), but is made of Malachite gemstone, a gemstone often used in the creation of decorative objects, and is usually only seen in the lavish palaces of the Russian Tsar and the castles of the great noble families. That is also why its selling price at the time of its launch was also a fortune for many people.
The pen you see in the picture is a water ballpoint pen, new and unused.
