Actually, these two pens are not as similar as you think.
Both are in the Meisterstuck Solitaire Vermeil pen line that Montblanc launched a long time ago, both have vermeil patterns and are plated with luxurious 20K gold. With version 1645, this pen is completely cast from Ag925 Silver and has created a resounding success for Montblanc, the pen has become one of the most high-end versions and is sought after by many Montblanc followers. However, silver is a material that requires you to "pamper" quite a bit, when using it, you need to preserve it well or it will easily oxidize, at the same time, silver is also very soft, if it is impacted, it may leave marks that are difficult to fix.
And the 02930 pen was born as a renewed version based on the prototype of the famous Solitaire Vermeil Silver line. The pen is crafted with stainless steel material, creating a more sturdy and powerful product.
The only difference in appearance between the two pens is the Ag925 silver symbol on the side of the pen cap of the 1645 pen version, while the 02930 version does not have it. In terms of value, the cast silver version will of course be many times higher, not only because of the material but also because of the longer production time and much greater rarity.
