Montblanc Masters of Art Homage to Vincent van Gogh Limited Edition 90, Montblanc pays tribute to Vincent van Gogh, one of the most famous painters of the late 19th century, with a version commemorating his time in Arles, along with a design inspired by the painting “The Harvest” and the vibrant colors of Provence.
Handcrafted details adorn the cap and barrel, with “Arles” engraved on the dome of the cap, along with “1888” and the signature “Vincent” on the barrel ring to commemorate Van Gogh’s time in Arles. The writing instrument features a shape inspired by Japanese wood carvings and solid 18K rose gold accents, as well as inlaid lacquer details inspired by van Gogh’s explorations of color theory.
The nib is embossed with a sunflower design, while the cap dome, clip and engravings are inspired by various aspects of Van Gogh's life and work, including his self-portraits, his pipe smoking habits and his art tools.
