The splendor of royal lineage.
Inspired by the Mughal aesthetic of India, the Montblanc High Artistry A Celebration of the Taj Mahal pen features the shape of a solid gold Mughal dagger, decorated with rubies, emeralds and diamonds set in a style reminiscent of traditional Kundan stone setting.
This is a one-of-a-kind pen, as Montblanc only released 1 version in the world. This pen is both a writing instrument and a piece of jewelry that only 1 person has. The design of peacock feathers, crafted in diamonds, wraps around the cap and barrel of the pen, honoring the splendor of the Mughal Empire of India.
The centre of the feather, set with a removable individual-cut diamond, hides a miniature enamel painting of a bird – a romantic allusion to Emperor Shah Jahan's love for his wife.
The cap of the pen is inspired by the dome of the Taj Mahal and is set with an extraordinary 6.12 carat octagonal emerald. The green stone was favored by Mughal emperors and is affectionately known as “Tears of the Moon”.
Genuine Pen wants everyone to admire the rare beauty of a pen model that Montblanc will never make a second one.
