The version you are seeing is the Classique ballpoint version of this pen line. The pen body is made of blue resin, the metal details are plated with platinum very delicately. This pen line is always engraved with the image of a steamboat on the pen cap, along with patterns resembling the flowing water, creating the image of a boat floating on the river, the sea surface true to the original.
The pen clip is engraved with a precious black lacquer playing card image, and on the tip of the pen are engraved two important numbers: 18 – the number of days it took to travel from London to Bombay and 80 – the number of days it took the character to end his journey.
