2006 was probably the year that Montblanc “introduced” its most massive pen collections. Notably, there were pen models with diamonds engraved on and replacing the Montblanc logo on the pen tip. Montblanc Starwalker Unlimited Soulmakers For 100 Years was one of them.
A design not much different from the regular Starwalker Resin line, but this is considered one of the rarest models in the pen line. This Montblanc Starwalker Diamond Pen is also crafted from Montblanc precious resin and platinum-plated metal, with a highlight being a ~0.06 ct. natural diamond on the pen tip. To celebrate the brand's 100th anniversary (1906-2006), this fountain pen is also meticulously engraved with the image of the Mont Blanc mountain on the 18K gold nib.
Because it is a special anniversary edition, this pen model was only released in 2006 and has never been re-produced by Montblanc since. Perhaps that is why many people consider this a big goal, a must to add to their Montblanc pen collection.
