Montblanc celebrates Phileas Fogg’s continuing journey from Bombay to Yokohama in the second edition of the “Around The World in 80 Days” collection. The line is particularly influenced by the adventure through the Indian jungle, with its many challenges.
The elephant is depicted boldly, from the engravings on the side of the pen cap to the center of the leather notebook. This majestic elephant is the means of transportation that helps the main characters cross the jungle.
This collection takes the two colors of Gold and Anthracite as the main colors for the entire product line. This is also the first time Montblanc has used such a special color on its products. This anthracite color reminds us of the scene in the novel where Fogg's group rescues Princess Aouda from the pyre.
