“Around the World in 80 Days” is a classic adventure novel by French author Jules Verne, first published in 1873. In the story, Phileas Fogg of London and his hired French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the globe in 80 days to win a prize of £20,000. Montblanc has launched the Montblanc Meisterstuck Around the World in 80 Days pen line with this very special theme.
The version you see is the midsize version crafted from platinum-plated steel covered with a special dark blue lacquer. Along with that are the water wave patterns decorated by Montblanc all over the pen body. The image of a steamboat is also meticulously engraved on the cap of this pen model.
Not only that, on the pen clip, Montblanc also decorates the spade image crafted from black lacquer, and other cards are hiddenly decorated on the water wave patterns on the pen cap.
The Midsize version makes this pen model more powerful, attractive and extremely elegant. The pen is a ballpoint version and is currently available at Genuine Pen store.
