The Montblanc Limited Writers Edition Carlo Collodi pen line was launched by Montlanc in 2011 to pay tribute to the author of the famous children's story of Western civilization - "Le Avventure di Pinocchio".

Every detail of this limited edition pen is meticulously designed: the pen body is made from rare brown resin or all the metal parts of the pen are covered with a beautiful layer of champagne gold. Montblanc's artisans skillfully integrated all the characters accompanying the main character Pinocchio on the cap of the pen such as: mermaid, cricket, cat, cunning fox and voracious whale. The image of the wooden boy's joints is also shown on the lapel clip, while the end of the pen is reminiscent of Pinocchio's legendary long nose.

The end of this masterpiece is signed by writer Carlo Collido and the serial number of the pen. 4880/8400 that the shop owns is engraved on the top of the pen.
