Montblanc Meisterstuck Le Petit Prince Collection is a pen line inspired by the novel The Little Prince (French name: Le Petit Prince), published in 1943, the most famous novel by French writer and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The pen is crafted in two versions: a popular version made mainly of Montblanc's signature blue resin and a premium version crafted of blue lacquered metal combined with Platinum plating.

The pen in the picture is the version The popular fountain pen is crafted from Montblanc's signature resin. The pen nib is crafted from 14K gold plated with Platinum (size M) and printed with a rather unique Le Petit Prince pattern. The blue color of the pen is inspired by the work's imagination of the dark blue of the cosmic sky. The image of the fox in the work is cleverly combined by Montblanc's designers with fox face motifs engraved all over the pen's surface. The lapel clip is also lightly decorated with a funny image of a star covered in yellow lacquer.
