Following the success of the Montblanc M Red line launched in 2018, Montblanc has continued to launch the Montblanc M Red Signature collection. This pen line is also part of the RED organization's campaign to support the end of AIDS. For each product in the Montblanc M Red and Montblanc M Red Signature lines sold, 5 Euros will be contributed to the Global Fund.

Still based on the original Montblanc M design, but the material used to make the pen has been improved, the entire body of the pen is made of metal and coated with a layer of Palladium Nickel instead of Resin like previous versions. The pen handle and the ink feed are decorated with red lacquer, making the overall pen modern and youthful.

The most innovative feature of M is the magnetic capping mechanism that automatically rotates the clip in the same direction as the Montblanc logo on the end of the pen. Thanks to that, no matter which direction the user closes the cap, the pen always maintains the shape that the product designer wanted it to always be. 

The pen currently available is a fountain pen version, the pen nib is made of Au750 gold, nib size M is suitable for daily signing needs.
