Launched in 2001 with a limited edition of only 8,000 pieces, the Donation Pen Johann Sebastian Bach is a very beautiful pen from Montblanc: It is beautiful not only in its meaning but also in its design and materials. Let me also say more about Johann Sebastian Bach, he was a German composer, organist, violinist, violist, and harpsichordist of the Baroque period (1600 - 1750), and one of the greatest composers of all time.
About the pen in the picture, it has too much more special than the limited edition number 1853/8000 it owns. The upper part of the pen is still made from Montblanc's exclusive precious resin, but it is skillfully mixed to create a very eye-catching coral red color. The highlight of this part is the signature of Johann Sebastian Bach engraved and painted in black, very large and clear, looking very artistic.
On the lower part, Montblanc does not use pure black precious resin but mixes it with a very unique reddish brown color. The important highlight is the lapel clip, stylized from the Sol key combined with meticulously carved musical melodies right in the middle of the pen body. It is known that Montblanc has donated a portion of the profits from this pen to fund the restoration of one of the original manuscripts of Johann Sebastian Bach.
The pen in the picture is kept in new condition in the box by the previous owner, very collectible.
