Released in a limited edition of just 8,000 pieces worldwide, the Donation Pen Johann Sebastian Bach is one of the most meaningful and beautiful designs Montblanc has created in 2001.
The pen pays tribute to composer Johann Sebastian Bach, so his signature is also engraved and highlighted in black on the cap made from Montblanc coral red resin. Montblanc also cleverly shaped the clip into the image of the G clef (the opening symbol of a musical staff), along with other metal details plated in an impressive gold color. The pen's serial number 1853/8000 is also engraved and quite difficult to see on the tip of the pen.
The ring in the middle of the pen body is engraved with interesting musical notes, although small, we can still see the sharpness and sophistication that the Montblanc artisans have created. The pen tail is once again crafted from Montblanc precious resin, but this time in a reddish brown color exclusive to this pen line.
The pen was created with a spirit of giving in mind, with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the pen going to fund the restoration of one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s original manuscripts. It also comes in a custom-designed box, with music sheets included with the pen. Johann Sebastian Bach is perfectly reproduced.
