The pen body is also exquisitely engraved with 7 images symbolizing 7 of Shakespeare's most famous plays: The rose and dagger for the legendary play Romeo & Juliet, the skull symbolizing the play Hamlet, 2 chess pieces representing the play King Lear, the coat of arms of King Henry V, the crown from Machbeth, the swirling cloud from The Tempest and the laurel wreath and the letter C for Julius Caesar.
