Elvis Presley is still considered one of the most important cultural icons of the 20th century – the “King of Rock’n’Roll” who defined a generation. Born in 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi and moving to Memphis, Tennessee, Elvis Presley became one of the most famous musicians and actors of all time.
The overall shape of the pen is inspired by the spark plug of a car engine, inspired by Elvis' love of V8 engines, as is the shape of the gold-plated clip. The “EP” logo comes from the artist's signature sunglasses.
The cap top features the 'ELVIS' logo inside the Montblanc crest made from white lacquer and the pattern on the entire body of the pen is plated in platinum reminiscent of one of his gold rings.
Elvis' famous hat from “Aloha Hawaii” serves as the backdrop for the lacquered eagle decoration on the cap, while Elvis' quote “Ambition is a dream with a V8 engine” is engraved on the pen's tail.
