The pen is crafted from precious resin with a rather unique earthy brown tone. The decorative motifs are plated in champagne gold and are treated with a semi-glossy, semi-matte finish, creating a very unique and masculine beauty.
The Carlo Collorodi pen line was launched in 2011 in very limited quantities, so it's hard to believe that the pen you see in the picture is in brand new, unused condition with full original box.
For those who don't know, this version was launched to honor the writer Carlo Collorodi and the story associated with the childhood of many generations: Pinocchio. Montblanc's artisans have cleverly told the story through the decorative motifs on the pen cap, with a lapel clip resembling the boy's nose, or the engravings on the pen are also images of the characters appearing in Pinocchio's adventure.
