Montblanc Meisterstuck Around The World In 80 Days is a pen collection inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel. This is the second collection focusing on this theme, Montblanc has explored the new potential of this wonderful pen version by changing the main color from Platinum-plated blue in the first pen line to extremely charming Gold-plated brown.
This edition of the pen is inspired by the second leg of the main characters' journey in the novel, from Bombay to Yokohama. The main characters travel in this part of their adventure on a majestic elephant, which is also engraved in great detail on the cap of the pen.
The clip features a red lacquered diamond card, replacing the black spade, and the pen's tail is engraved with a pattern and the deck of cards representing Mr. Fogg's bet to make the journey in 80 days. The cap is embossed with the time of the second leg of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama, for a total of 80 days of adventure.
This collection is also divided into 4 smaller pen lines: Classique line with traditional Resin material; Solitaire line with special black wood material, paying tribute to Mr. Fogg saving Princess Aouda; Doue line with cap crafted from gold-plated metal and the pen body is treated anthracite lacquer; Finally, the Limited Edition version with 811 unique versions, the pen body is made of black dyed ebony, the pen body is inlaid with 18K gold symbolizing 5 coins of the Qing Dynasty, the cap is made of Ag925 silver with an elephant engraved in 18K gold.
