Montblanc created the Great Characters Enzo Ferrari Limited Edition pen for the first time in 2021, honoring Enzo Ferrari, a motor racer and businessman who founded the legendary Scuderia Ferrari and established a global automotive empire with unparalleled quality and a passion for speed that he took from himself.
The pen you see here is a limited edition of only 1,898 pieces in the world. Made from metal and designed to resemble the structure of the “Ferrari 125 S” engine, this pen pays homage to the meticulous craftsmanship of the Ferrari workshops.
The top of the cap is fitted with a Montblanc emblem in a resin that looks like frosted glass and is embedded in a metal mesh. On the back of the cap, the Ferrari logo – a neighing horse – is engraved in great detail. The metal clip is decorated with Enzo’s famous quote: “You cannot describe passion, you can only live it.”
The pen is crafted from stainless steel with a specially patterned surface. Red lacquer is also applied to small details, making the pen stand out. The handcrafted 18K solid gold nib is engraved with the “Ferrari 250 GTO” steering wheel and the nickname given to Enzo Ferrari – “Il Commendatore”.
