The version you are seeing of the Montblanc Le Petit Prince pen line is a complete change in color. It does not use blue but instead uses a very new, gentle dark brown color.
The Classique version uses resin on the entire body of the pen, and the Doue version uses resin only on the lower body of the pen. The Doue version changes the cap material to platinum-plated metal with images from the story “Le Petit Prince” fully engraved on it.
Both versions of this pen are available at Genuine Pen store in new condition with original box.
