This pen was supposed to honor the writer Alexandre Dumas (the Father), but the signature engraved on the barrel is the signature of the Son, who is also a famous writer no less than his father. Since then, both versions have become the target of Montblanc collectors, it will be extremely special to have both versions in your hands.
The pen in the store is the version engraved with the correct name of Father Alexandre Dumas, corrected from the previous version that mistakenly engraved the name of Dumas the son, so on the pen cap is engraved both the limited number 14923/16000 and the letter "N" symbolizing the corrected version.
