Elvis Presley is still considered one of the most important cultural icons of the 20th century – the “King of Rock and Roll” who defined a generation. Born in 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi and moving to Memphis, Tennessee, Elvis Presley became one of the most famous singer-songwriters.
Montblanc has launched the Montblanc Great Characters Elvis Presley Special Edition pen, shaped like a car engine spark plug, inspired by Elvis' love for V8 engines.
The pattern on the cap and barrel, as well as the surface detail on the ring, are inspired by the concert the artist performed at – “Aloha from Hawaii”. The V-shaped clip comes from Elvis’ love of Cadillacs and their V8 engines, and the “EP” comes from his signature sunglasses.
