The cap and barrel are still crafted from Montblanc's traditional black plastic, with the familiar white Montblanc logo inlaid on the top of the pen.
What makes this pen special is the innovative curved nib handcrafted from solid Au750 / 18K gold and decorated with three delicate parallel lines – a symbol inspired by the calligraphy movement.
