With the ballpoint version, Montblanc has used its special Resin to create a glossy black pen body that, no matter how long you use it, will retain its shine without fading.
The clip, the ring on the body and the pen tail, all of which are plated by Montblanc to decorate their pen models. The most popular plated colors used by Montblanc are Platinum, Gold and most recently the luxurious Red Gold.
